Snow Plow Status

With the possibility of a winter storm this weekend, here’s some timely info from the VDOT website:

The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) has a new web tool that shows the status of plowing in northern Virginia neighborhoods. Once it snows at least two inches, residents can find out the status of plowing in Fairfax, Loudoun and Prince William county neighborhoods at http://novasnowplowing.virginia.gov. The webpage activates when two or more inches have accumulated.

Trees!

Have you seen the trees? Yes, the trees that we trimmed along Sydenstricker and Huntsman! Thank you for the $2,500 in donations that were used just for that purpose! If you would like to contribute more or forgot, and would like to help with some additional funding, just mail a check payable to OHECA, P.O. Box 523095, Springfield, Va. 22152-5095.
Can you dedicate some time to OHECA? One of our valued volunteers will be moving in the spring and we need a new Secretary and Architecture Chair. Send me an email at president@oheca.net or call at 703-569-1413. Thanks for supporting our neighborhood!!!
