Big Item Drop-Off & Paper Shredding Event

Orange Hunt Estates and Winston Knolls Civic Associations are sponsoring a free big item drop-off with Fairfax County assistance and free shredding for community residents only. This event is scheduled for Saturday APRIL 29, 2017.

Trucks will be in the parking lot at Orange Hunt Elementary School from 8:00 am to noon for the big-item drop off and from 9:00 to noon for shredding.  The shredder can handle simple staples, paper clips, flip handle/butterfly binder clips, spiral note books, and six part folders with the two hole punch long and thin metal prongs. The shredder cannot handle 3 ring binders so the paper will have to be removed from the binders and binders are not taken away. File boxes or bags holding the paper will not be removed.
