Hello neighbors! You all should have received your OHECA letter and application in the mail in September. There is also a link to it at the end of this article. Whether you are brand new residents or original residents since 1966; whether you rent or own your house; whether you are a retired empty nester or a young family with children, your support can make a difference. By joining the Civic Association, you are making an investment in your home, your neighborhood, and your community. Please join now!
OHECA FAST FACTS
We are The Orange Hunt Estates Civic Association, not an HOA (Home Owners Association).
We trim the trees, maintain the common areas, and mow the medians. If OHECA didn’t do this, the county/state would mow only four times a year. YIKES!
We have one of the oldest Neighborhood Watch programs in Fairfax County.
We organize useful events such as the community yard sale and the Big Item Drop Off. Your membership costs less than a single trip to the dump!
We publish an annual directory – The Orange Book – with listings of residents, local businesses, and neighborhood services such as babysitting and pet sitting.
We do FUN stuff like yard contests, holiday decorating contests, the 4thof July parade, and National Night Out.
Our Facebook Group, website, and newsletters are great ways to meet your neighbors and get information. Check us out at oheca.net and on Facebook!
Only 50% of the residents of Orange Hunt are members. We really need your support!
We appreciate our continuing members and would love to meet some new members. Please join now for 2014! Please contact Christine Swirbliss at email@example.com or call 703-451-5124 if you have any questions or concerns. Download a 2014 membership form here.
