Community Yard Sales; Saturday, April 29:

Orange Hunt Estates and neighboring Winston Knolls have partnered to sponsor individual yard sales, 8:00 a.m. to whenever. OHECA will advertise the event in advance of the date with signage and social media posts. You may post your own sign the evening before or morning of the event, but please take it down by Saturday evening. There is no rain date, but another community yard sale will be scheduled in the fall.

Adopt-a-Highway; Saturday, April 22:

April 22 is Earth Day. What an appropriate time to clean fall and winter’s debris from our property and adjacent curbside gutters, where accumulated leaves are an eyesore and can enter the storm drains. OHECA has chosen this day to fulfill its Adopt-a-Highway sponsorship responsibility. Please consider helping on this Saturday to clean litter from Huntsman Blvd medians and curbs.

We will meet at the Orange Hunt Elementary School parking lot promptly at 9:00 a.m., give out bags, safety vests, instructions and divide into groups to walk sections of Huntsman Blvd.  Bring your own gloves, and dress for the weather.  We should be through by about 11:00 a.m., or earlier, if at least eight of you volunteer.

VDOT specifies children 10 and above can participate, but children under 18 must have one adult supervisor for every 6 children ages 10-17.
